Pikatti: Animatic v. 3 (No Sound)
We have added some new storyboard panels and adjusted some other parts of the animatic such as removing zooms, adding more close-ups and changing the timing of some of the clips. There is currently no audio because some sounds need to now be added and moved around.

Pikatti: Animatic v.2 With Sound
We are currently in the process of changing parts of our script and changing/adding/removing some storyboard panels but this is the sound for our current animatic. After we make some changes, the sounds can be moved around again to fit the new animatic. We haven't added any music, we are unsure if adding music will make it too much considering parts of the soundscape are already musical but we are planning to experiment with it to see.

Pikatti: Sound Design Progress
Even though our animatic and script still require some adjustments, I've decided to begin editing and piece together the sound effects I've been gathering up over the last few weeks. This is only a small portion of our animatic and it sill needs some other details such as the jingle of the dog's name-tag, but I figured I'd post an update on the progress I've made so far. It's taking me a while to sort out some audio for the boy (which is not all featured in this clip, I'm hoping I've made/edited all of the clips that I will need) but I think it's come out alright. We are hoping that the sound will clarify some aspects of the story including explaining the collar belonged to his dog who passed away. I also have begun working on sounds for the fox, which I am hoping will help the audience know that there is a difference between the boy's dead dog and the fox.

Fantastic Voyage: Rough New Animatic
Since I now have my voiceover, I decided to quickly piece together an animatic so I know the new timing better for when I start animating. It only has the voice and is missing the sound effects but I at least have a better idea of the timing/pacing now. I also changed the sequence 0:26-0:44 so there were less scenes where it's just a black screen (in the animatic I just reused some storyboards of kelp and bacteria silhouettes).

Fantastic Voyage: The Leviathan Animatic (w/ Narration, Sound Effects, Music)
I added a bit of a vignette to this in After Effects, I'm not sure if it's too subtle or not subtle enough but I was just experimenting with it. I also tried adding some colour filters but it looked odd so I'll experiment with colour more in my concept art. The music and most of the sound effects are pretty quiet because I was worried the narration would get drowned out.

Fantastic Voyage: Pitch Animatic w/ Subtitles and Updated Script
I've gone back and added subtitles to hopefully fix the timing on my animatic so I can now add narration and sound effects to it along with some music as long as I have time after finishing some concept paintings. I've also updated my script so it matches up with my storyboard/animatic.
@Phil - Fantastic Voyage: The Leviathan Animatic Progress II
The timing needs to be worked on a bit I think, but I'm going to start working on adding some sound effects, but I was wondering if I should add subtitles or annotations for the narration, if I should leave it without subtitles to not block any of the images and present the narration using my script/3 acts, or if I should do a version of both for the pitch?
* Update*I might be getting Joe to do some narration for me, so that question is more for if I'm unable to get a recording tomorrow. I know I can do it myself too, I'd just prefer not to because I don't think my voice would work well but if that's a better option than subtitles or just presenting a script (and if I can't get anyone else to do it) I'll obviously suck it up.

Fantastic Voyage: The Leviathan Animatic I Progress
I still need to add in the bacteria ripping apart some kelp, the final kelp forest scene and the Leviathan sequence. I also need to readjust the timing but I think that'll be easier once I have subtitles (later to be replaced with narration) and other sound effects. I like how it's coming along so far, thanks to Jordan's lesson about using Photoshop to create quick animation/animatics I'm able to make the storyboard alongside the animatic faster than before with movements instead of just using only arrows. In my final animation, the bacteria near the end will have more spikes and bigger mouthes/teeth but for now I'm just trying to get the basic scenes blocked out.

From Script to Screen: Test Animatic #1 (Without Sound)
I've put together a test animatic so I can play around with the pacing and timing. I feel as though some of the images in the beginning of the animatic might go too quickly, but I'm trying to be aware of the length of the animatic which is already over 2 minutes. Any feedback regarding the timing in my animatic would be very appreciated. Once I get the pacing down I'm going to have a better look at some sounds to add.

Adobe Premiere: Titles
To practice using titles in Premiere Pro, I added each type of title to my like-for-like animatic. For the dialogue, I used the 'crawl' title but I had them remain stationary.
