Maya Pipeline 1: Facial Rigging Pt. 2 - Lateral Mouth Movement I (Part 7)

After adding the teeth and the tongue, more movement needed to be added so the corner of the mouth would move along the cheek properly instead of tearing away from the model. Another duplicate head was made, along with a corner joint and a base joint. These were skinned to the head multiple times depending on the shape (out, in, up, and down) so they could then be duplicated to create a blend shape. I struggled with the 'up' position the most, but I think it turned out could use some tweaking still I think but I also don't want to overwork it and go in circles/destroy it.
